Half-Way Rays
Why blame the dark for being dark? It's far more helpful to ask why the light isn't as bright as it should be.

Impact: Leave Your Mark
I was listening to Erwin McManus this morning on the way to class and he was going through how we can impact and leave our mark on the world around us, so I thought I'd share his points with you.

FOCUS

Focus on what matters. Focus on what is going to matter. What are you doing now that will matter ten years from now? In order to truly make an impact, we have to focus on God and focus on the things that are going to matter in our lives.

LEVERAGE

Leverage your time and energy. Leverage your resources. One of the biggest problems in our society is that many of us aren't doing anything. We're lazy and expect everything to fall into our laps and it's not going to. If it's not laziness, then we'll say we're too tired. You'll notice that when you start doing the things you love, you will be energized. Stay energized by doing the things that make you feel happy, whether it's going hiking, reading a book, or taking the time out to sit down and draw for fifteen minutes. Whatever it is, do it!

INVEST

Invest in people. Invest in people who invest in people.
