NEXT Steps

Christianity is a series of next steps. Each one of them brings you closer to God in your daily walk with Him. In Psalm 119:105 the Bible says: "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path." Think about that verse for a moment. It says that God's word is a lamp not a spotlight because God isn't going to reveal His entire plan to you. He doesn't work like that. He gives you a lamp and all that you can see is the step you're about to take and with each step the next one is revealed. But if you stop moving your path becomes dark because you can't see before you. Your closeness with God depends upon you taking those next steps. You have to consistently seek God's word and move toward Him or you'll never truly realize the reason He custom designed you. You gotta move.
